Alice graduated from the University of the South in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History and earned her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014. She has lived in Montana and Greece where she studied oil painting, figure drawing and photography.

Caroline Reehl Boykin has always loved to create. Her childhood on the Alabama coast cultivated her enchantment with art and southern culture. Touches of this admiration of hospitality and southern grandeur are seen today through her work.
Janet graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in art. She worked with Wachovia Banking Corporation as director of design for their worldwide offices and curator of Wachovia’s corporate art collection.
Jennifer Flannigan is an abstract artist living and working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jennifer began her career as a professional hairstylist and channeled her passion for color and texture into her paintings.

Kelly lives in Orlando, Florida, and is originally from Texas. He began painting just two years ago and specializes in encaustic painting, incorporating mixed medium with attention in heavy texture and fibers.
After spending years being what some would call an “entrepreneur” (others would say a “mom of three girls looking for a ‘happy release’”), Lea Barksdale has finally found her niche!
Michael Patterson was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana Tech University where he studied Photography and Painting, earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1980. He currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina where he owns Wide Screen Antics, a video company where he works as an AVID editor and producer.
Peter maintains an architectural office and an art studio on Bald Head Island, North Carolina and in Charleston, South Carolina. His formal training included a master’s degree at Washington University that resulted in an architectural practice of more than 30 years.
My paintings portray the doors through which I have walked -- the people and places that have touched my life. To me, art tells the story, recalls the memory or captures the mood. I start the creative process with my camera and later gather subject matter from my large photo library.
Sherry McAdams is a North Carolina contemporary painter whose work has roots in the abstract expressionist tradition, yet embraces a style that is uniquely her own. Shapes and line appear to morph in and out of focus, and subtle imagery whispers beneath the surface.
I photograph the beauty that I see around me, whether it be people, places or things. Whenever opportunities arise to travel, whether near or far, I bring my camera and capture what surrounds me in those moments. This media-filled world has created a need in me to create and print images that are tangible.
I have always had an incredible urge to be creative, and the process of painting allows me to express myself. For me when I paint, it is a meditation and an outlet. Expressing myself through design is intuitive and euphoric. I consider myself and “Eclectic Painter,” and I enjoy choosing from a large range of artistic styles.
Every artist needs a surface. A crisp page or cave wall, some sleepy block of marble or chunk of wood. Whatever form it takes, the surface becomes a place to land, to sort, scream, pray or question. To breathe and to be.
