Alice graduated from the University of the South in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History and earned her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014. She has lived in Montana and Greece where she studied oil painting, figure drawing and photography.

Alice now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she teaches painting and runs South of Houston, the arts and antiques business she has with her family.

Her painting influences come from the many places she has traveled but mostly from the Low Country, where she was raised.
